In the center of the village stands a wayside chapel with two small towers. The date 1725 and the initials TG are affixed to its cross. Suryty also has a historic manor house dating from the turn of the 18th to the 19th century; a half-timbered granary with a mansard roof has been preserved nearby.
Geographical Location
The cadastral area of Suryty is located in Warmia, in Lidzbark County and in the southern part of the municipality of Lidzbark Warmiński. It lies on the “Jeziorany-Bisztynek Upland”. Lake Blanki is associated with the area, but lies outside the cadastral boundary.
The nearby town of Lidzbark Warmiński is approximately 11.8 km from Suryty. The town is associated with the Bishop’s Castle, which is considered an important local symbol.
