Stare Jablonki: Hotels and Accommodation

Stare Jabłonki is located in the Iława Lakeland between Lake Szeląg Wielki and Lake Szeląg Mały. This is where the Elbląg Canal waterway route begins at its outermost branch.

Lake Szeląg Wielki is considered a body of water with cool water and fish such as vendace, powan and eel. The surrounding Taborskie forest complex is home to the Sosny Taborskie Reserve. The wider area around Stare Jabłonki also includes Dylewska Góra and Janusz Kusociński Park.

History and Architecture

The earliest known written references to Stare Jabłonki date from 1584. The village has a historic railway station building with a restored clock and a distinctive wooden waiting room on one of the platforms.
