Wierzba: Hotels and accommodations

The shoreline of Wierzba is connected to Lake Bełdany. A local road leads into the village from Ruciane-Nida; a car ferry also connects Wierzba with the western shore of the lake.

Geographical location

Wierzba is located in the southeast of Masuria, in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and in Piski County. Kadzidłowo and Szeroki Ostrów are located in the surroundings of Wierzba.

History

The settlement was probably founded in the 18th century. Its name is derived from the Polish word for the willow tree.
