Sarbinowo: Hotels and Accommodation

Sarbinowo is located on the Baltic Sea, approximately 7 km west of Mielno and 17 km northwest of Koszalin. The town lies among coastal dunes and along a promenade; the described local scenery includes a sandy beach and wooded areas. Local tourism materials also describe Sarbinowo as being free of industry.

In the immediate vicinity of Sarbinowo is Plaża Sarbinowo. The surrounding area is home to Plaża w Ustroniu Morskim. Further afield in the region are Sianożęty Plaża and Płaza Kolobrzeg.

Routes and Destinations

Several scenic routes are approximately a dozen kilometres long. A tourist trail along the dunes runs through Sarbinowo towards Chłopy, Mielenko and Mielno. The tourist lighthouse in Gąski is described as being 5 km from Sarbinowo; it can be reached on foot via the beach or along Nadmorska Street.

Near the Będzino–Sarbinowo intersection is a mini-zoo described as being aimed at children; a small stable is located on Południowa Street.

Local History

Sarbinowo is home to the Neo-Gothic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and a fisherman's hut associated with the town's fishing heritage. A former war memorial commemorated those who fell in the First World War. The monument was removed in the 1950s and was probably buried in a small pond.
