Stary Jarosław: Hotels and Accommodation

The historic Holy Cross Church of Stary Jarosław dates from the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries and was rebuilt in the 19th century. Its interior contains works of Baroque folk art, Gothic sculptures, and Renaissance choir stalls.

Culture and History

The church was built as a brick parish church in the second half of the 15th century. In the 19th century, it was extended with side annexes and, after 1945, once again received the patronage of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.

Farmstead No. 40 preserves its original 19th-century layout and culturally valuable rural buildings. It is part of the rural cultural landscape of Stary Jarosław.

The Cistercian Route includes eleven coastal towns, including Stary Jarosław; they are connected with places associated with the Cistercian Order. The 104-kilometre Medieval Monuments Trail also passes through the town. Along its route are medieval churches, fortified settlements, and historic rural buildings.
