History and Culture

Nustrow was first documented on March 16, 1425, as “slot Nusserouwe.” Its early history included a castle associated with Gerd Behr.

In the surrounding area are the village church in Basse, a district of the municipality of Lühburg, and Behren-Lübchin village church. The area around Nustrow is home to Lieper Castle, Kucksdorfer Castle, Marlow Bird Park, and motocross at Echoberg.
