Parts of the municipality of Zarnewanz belong to the Reppeliner Bachtal nature reserve. In the immediate vicinity of Zarnewanz are Lieper Burg, Moto-Cross at Echoberg and Lustberg. In the surrounding area are Marlow Bird Park, Kucksdorfer Burg, the village church in Basse, a district of the municipality of Lühburg, and the Ludolf Arena. Dornbusch lies in the wider regional surroundings of Zarnewanz. Stormstorf was first mentioned in 1268, and the manor house dates from 1871.
