Blankenberg: Hotels and Accommodations

Blankenberg is a municipality in the northern part of the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. The municipality is located in the wooded, hilly Sternberg Lake District.

Nature

To the east, Blankenberg borders Lake Groß Labenz, to the north Lake Glamm, and to the west Lake Tempzin. Other lakes in the municipality include Weißer See, Rübensee, Karpfensee, and Harmsee. The largest flowing body of water in Blankenberg is the Brüeler Bach; its tributaries include Tönnisbach and Radebach.

Schloßberg and Böckenberg are located in the immediate vicinity of Blankenberg. Schwanenhorst is also located in the surrounding area.

Culture and History
