Jabel: Hotels and Accommodation

The landscape around Jabel is very heavily forested and is connected with Lake Loppin and Lake Jabel. Lake Jabel is connected to Lake Kölpin and Lake Fleesen. Jabel is a municipality in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and is administered by the Seenlandschaft Waren municipal office.

Nature and bodies of water

The western part of Jabel lies in the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heath Nature Park. Between Lake Jabel and Lake Kölpin lies Damerower Werder, a protected area where European bison have lived in an enclosure since 1957. Jabel is located around ten kilometres from Waren (Müritz) and is officially recognised as a tourist destination in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

Schloß Schwenzin and Kirch Poppentin are located in the vicinity of Jabel. The Affenwald Malchow summer toboggan run, Hoher Berg and Axenberg are also nearby. Mönchberg is located close by. Further afield in the region are Burg Schlitz and Lockwerder.
