Lowlands and waterways

The location between the heath and the Great Meadow shapes the landscape around the municipality. Several drainage ditches in the former marshland converge at Ferdinandshof. Water from the former marshland flows into the Szczecin Lagoon via the dredged Zarow River. In addition to its lowland character, this connection also gives the landscape a link to the lagoon. Church and history at the Brandstall

The Trinity Church was built between 1723 and 1726 as a rectangular hall church and enlarged in 1747. Cycling and getting here

The Berlin–Usedom long-distance cycle route passes through Ferdinandshof. There is also a cycle path about 5.7 kilometres long from Ferdinandshof to its junction with district road VG 52 near Café 70. It runs southwest, almost parallel to the B 109. These details about the route and its length help you distinguish between a long-distance cycle route and this more specifically defined section, without assuming that the two routes are connected.

Ferdinandshof is on the B 109 between Berlin and Greifswald, as well as on the Angermünde–Stralsund railway line. Tourists often use the railway stop to cycle to Ueckermünde, about 15 kilometres away.
