Directly next to Brzeźno Szlacheckie lies a 26-hectare lobelia lake surrounded by forests and fields. Its shores are varied and partly covered with shoreline vegetation.

A path runs along approximately 70 percent of the shoreline. The lake has fishing spots accessible from the shore and places for tent camping; fishing for predatory fish from a boat is also an option.

The lake can be reached from National Road K 20 via approximately 6 km of paved road, followed by a well-maintained, 300 m-long unpaved section.

The Siemierzycka Góra is located in the area surrounding Brzeźno Szlacheckie. In the wider regional area lies Bytów, with the Gothic Teutonic castle “Gotycki zamek krzyżacki XIV I XV w.” from the 14th and 15th centuries.

Culture and history

Brzeźno Szlacheckie is one of the villages in the Gmina Lipnica. The wider Gochy area of the gmina belongs to the Kashubian ethnic region; the Kashubian language and culture have been preserved there. Local history links Kashubian villagers from the area around Brzeźno Szlacheckie with the troops of King John III Sobieski in the Battle of Vienna in 1683.

An obelisk in Brzeźno Szlacheckie commemorates Kashubians at Vienna in 1683. There is also a monument to border guard and state police officers from stations in the Gochy area who were murdered or killed between 1939 and 1945.
