Naguszewo: Hotels and Accommodation

The area around Naguszewo contains historical and geographical points of reference that place the village within its immediate surroundings. Dąbrówno is located there – Ruiny zamku krzyzackiego XIV w. (ruins of a 14th-century Teutonic Order castle). Dylewska Góra is also located in the surrounding area.

Geographical location

Naguszewo is listed among the localities in the area of the municipality of Rybno. At the same time, the village is listed among the localities of the Gmina Rybno.

Culture

A former village smithy in the center of the settlement is built of stone and bricks and covered with tar paper.

During the Second World War, a subcamp of the Stutthof concentration camp was established in the village. 3,700 prisoners were held in this camp and were used to build barracks and fortifications. During the interwar period, Naguszewo also had a customs guard post.

History

Around 1906–1907, a children's strike against religious instruction in German took place at Naguszewo's elementary school. Before 1772, Naguszewo belonged to the estates of the bishops of Chełmno.
