Pietrasze is located in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in Gołdap County and the municipality of Gołdap.

History

Pietrasze was founded by Piotr Skomacki from the Straduń district in 1566 or 1568. The historical German name of the place was Pietraschen. In 1938, the National Socialist administration replaced it with the artificial name Rauental as part of a campaign to Germanize place names.
