The three cycling routes differ in length, difficulty rating, terrain and course. Cycling routes with different profiles
The yellow-marked cycling route 37 is 24 kilometers long, rated easy and runs over flat terrain. It passes through Olsztyn and Butryny to Nowa Kaletka and Zgniłocha. This describes both the terrain and the route, including several named places. At three kilometers shorter than route 38, route 37 is also flat rather than hilly and has an easier rating.
The blue-marked cycling route 38 is 27 kilometers long, rated moderate and runs over hilly terrain. Its route passes through Olsztyn, Stary Olsztyn, Linowo, Trękus, Kaborno, Nowa Wieś and Przykop to Butryny. The sequence of places and the difficulty rating give it a different profile from route 37: Butryny is named as the destination of this route, while route 37 continues from there to Nowa Kaletka and Zgniłocha.
The green-marked cycling route 39, at 11 kilometers, is the shortest of the three routes. It is a moderate, hilly circular route from Butryny via Nowa Kaletka and back to Butryny. If the shape of the route is especially important to you, this is explicitly a loop; its length, terrain and difficulty can also be compared with the other two routes.
Butryny also plays different roles on the three routes. On route 37, the village lies between Olsztyn and the destinations named farther along. Route 38 is described as reaching Butryny. On route 39, Butryny is both the starting point and the point of return. If you choose a route based on the places mentioned, you can distinguish between one that passes through Butryny, one that ends there and a loop that returns there.
Active recreation at the BARTBO amusement park
The BARTBO amusement park is another option for leisure in Butryny. The 18-hectare park focuses on active outdoor recreation.
