Cycling and exercise

A cycling route leads from Goscino via Pławęcino to the boundary between the municipalities of Gościno and Siemyśl. Another runs from Goscino to the boundary between the municipalities of Gościno and Karlino. There is also a cycling route towards Dargocice that goes as far as Lake Kamica. These destinations and directions provide different reference points for days out cycling: Pławęcino lies along one of the described routes, the two municipal boundaries mark other endpoints, and the route towards Dargocice leads to the lake.

There are also Nordic walking routes in Goscino. Those who like to combine travel with exercise will find another named activity here, in addition to the cycling routes. These interests may influence your choice of accommodation, but they do not indicate how close any individual property is to the routes.

Church, baptismal font and old trees

The parish church of St. Andrew Bobola is a Neo-Romanesque fieldstone church built in 1865. Its furnishings include a chalice-shaped stone baptismal font. It was carved from a single erratic boulder of Gotland limestone and dates from the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries. The church thus brings together a 19th-century construction date and a baptismal font of medieval origin. For travellers interested in architecture and historical details, the building style, construction material and origins of the font are distinctive features of the place.

A weeping ash, protected as a natural monument, also grows by the church. Nearby are old chestnut trees, small-leaved lime trees and sycamore maples. The protected ash and the other tree species mentioned add a natural dimension to the cultural focus. Those interested in old trees will find a different subject here from the cycling routes or church history.

Mill traces by the water

A watermill still stands on the Gościnka in the southeastern part of the village. Along the Gościnaka, which flows through Goscino, sluices and mechanisms for damming the water from a former watermill have survived to this day. Goscino is therefore home both to a mill that is still standing and to surviving technical elements of an earlier mill.

Sport and culture in the village

A skate park is connected to a sports centre in Goscino, forming a single complex. The sports centre includes a gym and a bowling alley. Alongside the routes, sports and leisure facilities are also part of the village’s character. If you are more interested in these activities than in church architecture or the history of milling, you can take them into account when deciding where to stay.

A dated cultural event was Zapusty on 14 February 2026, organised by the Centrum Kultury i Książki in Goscino. The festival, held before Lent, included Polish customs, music and communal entertainment, as well as competitions, performances, tastings and concerts. The date refers to this event; it is not an indication of a future date.

Roads in Goscino

Voivodeship Road 162 runs through Goscino. Several county roads, as well as municipal and local roads, also pass through the village.
