Dobrzany is a town in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and Stargard County. The town is located in the Ińsko Lake District on Lake Szadzko.
Location and bodies of water
The small Pęzinka River flows along the southern side of Dobrzany. The river passes through Staw Młyński and then flows into Lake Szadzko. The lake lies approximately 1 km southwest of Dobrzany. Its shoreline features gentle bays, higher northern banks, and lower southern banks with a wide reed belt.
Culture and history
The townscape is dominated by the former Protestant, now Roman Catholic parish church of St. Michael the Archangel. It dates from 1782 and is listed as historic monument A-1210.
