Seaside Resort of Lubmin

Lubmin is situated on the southern shore of the Greifswalder Bodden, between Greifswald and the island of Usedom.
Since 1990, the beach promenade and the spa gardens, including the concert shell, have been thoroughly renovated. A new pier was built with a landing stage, and new hotels and leisure facilities were established. The shallow water makes the beach particularly suitable for families and children. The coastal forest directly bordering the beach, together with the sea climate, creates health-promoting climatic conditions and especially good air quality. A newly built marina east of the town is a popular destination for recreational boaters.
Lubmin lies between the towns of Wolgast, the gateway to the island of Usedom, and the historic Hanseatic city of Greifswald. Both cities offer numerous attractions reflecting their rich histories, as well as a wide range of leisure facilities. The island of Rügen is within sight, on the opposite side of the Greifswalder Bodden. The large forest east of the seaside resort of Lubmin is an ideal setting for relaxing hikes or horseback rides in nature.
