Juodkrante: Hotels and Accommodation

Juodkrantė lies approximately halfway along the Lithuanian side of the Curonian Spit, on regional road KK 167 between Klaipėda and Zelenogradsk. With around 720 inhabitants, the settlement is the second-largest on the Lithuanian side of the Curonian Spit.

Landscape and Culture

The hills of Raganų Kalnas, Levos Kalnas and Kalnas Lapnugaris are located in the vicinity of Juodkrantė. Since 1979, Raganų Kalnas, also known as Witches' Hill, has been home to numerous wooden sculptures depicting Lithuanian fairy tales. Sala Kiaulės Nugara, an island, is also located near Juodkrantė.

Juodkrantė's attractions include a sculpture park on the lagoon, a renovated Evangelical church, a cemetery, listed residential buildings and traditional wooden villas.
