Geographical Location
Rosenow is a municipality in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district. The town lies northwest of Neubrandenburg and belongs to the administrative area of the Stavenhagen municipal association. Rosenow is also part of the Mecklenburg Switzerland and Lake District travel region. The B 104 federal highway and the Bützow–Stettin railway line run through the town.
Culture and History
Rosenow preserves heritage from its former manor-village character, including older cottages and farmhouses. There is also a church built between 1849 and 1851, which is considered a neo-Gothic church dating from the mid-19th century. Cultural sights associated with Rosenow include Luplow Manor House and Rosenow Church.
