Dersenow: Hotels and Accommodation

Most of Dersenow’s area belongs to the Lower Saxony and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve. The town is located in western Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and borders the Lower Saxony municipality of Amt Neuhaus to the south.

Voßbarg and Sonnenberg are located in the immediate vicinity of Dersenow. The surrounding area also includes Grenisberg.

Culture and History

The wider regional area is home to Krüzen Wildlife Park, Lauenburg Castle Tower, Seedorf Castle and the Franzosenschanze cultural and historical monument. The Future Centre for Human-Nature-Technology-Science is also located nearby.

Dammereez is associated with a landscape park, an exhibition hut, a castle and a cemetery chapel; Dersenow is associated with a chapel.

Transport

Federal Highway B5 and the Berlin–Hamburg railway line cross Dersenow. However, the town has no railway stop; the nearest station is in neighbouring Brahlstorf. Public transport is available in Dersenow.
