Geographical Location
Hülseburg is located approximately 9.5 kilometers north of Hagenow in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The A24 federal motorway runs three kilometers south of the village and can be reached via the Wittenburg and Hagenow exits.
History and Culture
The former Hülseburg Castle, a neo-Gothic castle, stood on the western edge of the settlement. It burned down in 1947; the ruins were demolished in 1948. The former castle park covered 7.7 hectares. A chapel is also among the local architectural landmarks.
The wider regional surroundings of Hülseburg include Schwerin, the State Museum, the Schwerin-Zippendorf TV Tower, and Seedorf Castle.
