The Kleine Sude and several drainage ditches flow through Warlitz or along its boundaries. At the same time, Warlitz is considered a Sackplatzdorf, while Goldenitz is considered a Gassendorf with an estate.

History and Surroundings
Warlitz was first documented in 1230 in the Ratzeburg tithe register. The names Warlitz and Goldenitz have Slavic origins.
The wider regional surroundings of Warlitz include the fieldstone church in Marsow and St. George's Village Church in Camin. The Dömitz Fortress and the Wasserski-Lift Zachun park are also located there.

Warlitz is located approximately 6.5 kilometers south of Hagenow. Federal Highway 5 runs through the Goldenitz district of Warlitz.
