Kirch Jesar is a former farming village on the edge of the Jasnitz Forest. The village is located about six kilometers east of Hagenow.
Location
Kirch Jesar has a railway stop for passenger trains on the Hamburg–Schwerin railway line. As the village developed, the railway line was built away from the main settlement area. The Hagenow junction of the A24 motorway is located about five kilometers north of Kirch Jesar.
Surroundings
The Zachun water-ski lift is located nearby. The surrounding area includes Buchberg. Further afield in the region are Großer Werder and Tannenwerder (Toteninsel).
