Parchim: Hotels and Accommodation

Parchim is the district town of the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and is located around 40 kilometres southeast of Schwerin. The Elde flows through the town; it divides into several branches and forms islands. The 60-hectare Wockersee lake is located northeast of Parchim and serves as a local recreation area. Its surroundings include woodland, meadows and wet meadows.

Nature

South of Parchim lies the Slater Moor, a natural wetland. Larger woodland areas are located north and south of the town. Schiefer Berg, Schwarzer Berg, Kannenberg and Krützenberg are also situated in the immediate vicinity of Parchim.
