Krummin: Hotels and Accommodation

Krummin is located in the northwestern part of the island of Usedom, on an inlet of the Peene River known as the Krumminer Wiek. The municipality is situated in the Usedom Island Nature Park; the Peene River lies south of the municipality.

Natural Environment and Surroundings

The Butterfly Farm Trassenheide, the Castle Island and Rohrplan are located in the immediate vicinity of Krummin. The surrounding area also includes Wolgast Zoo and the island of Görmitz.

Culture and History

The surrounding area of Krummin includes the Peenemünde power plant, the Peenemünde oxygen plant and Test Stand VII Peenemünde. Krummin was first documented in 1230; the later monastery church of St. Michael was built around 1250.
