Geographical Location
The municipality is located approximately 15 kilometers northwest of Grimmen and around 15 kilometers northeast of Tribsees. The A20 runs south of Millienhagen-Oebelitz; access is via the Grimmen-Ost junction, which is approximately 18 kilometers away.
History
Millienhagen-Oebelitz was formed on June 13, 1999, through the merger of the municipalities of Oebelitz and Milienhagen. Both places were first documented in the mid-13th century.
