Geographical Location

Wendisch Baggendorf is a municipality in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, northwest of Grimmen. At the same time, the municipality is located approximately eight kilometres southwest of Grimmen. To the north, its municipal area borders the Trebel and extends to the river.

The A20 runs through the municipal area. Access is via the Grimmen-West interchange, which is approximately three kilometres away.

The Kreideberg hill is located in the surrounding area. To the north, the municipality extends to the Trebel.

History

Before the land reform, the Wendisch Baggendorf estate covered 503 hectares.
