Drechow: Hotels and accommodations

Drechow is a municipality in the western part of Vorpommern-Rügen and lies southeast of Ribnitz-Damgarten.

Location and bodies of water

The Blinde Trebel forms Drechow’s eastern municipal boundary; near Drechow, the Bek flows into the Blinde Trebel. The A20 motorway can be reached via the Tribsees interchange, which is located approximately six kilometers south of Drechow.

The Schlossberg and Fuchsberg hills are located in the vicinity of Drechow.

History and culture

Drechow was first documented in 1250. A Slavic hillfort is located near Drechow on the banks of the Blinde Trebel.

The Kucksdorfer Burg, Marlow Bird Park, and Mönchstein are located in the surrounding area of Drechow. In the wider regional area around Drechow are Grimmen Wildlife Park and Lieper Burg. Schlossberg is also located in this same wider regional area.
