Bartosze is home to the war cemetery known as Mazurska Golgota. It is considered the largest war cemetery in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship; the site contains the graves of 13,000 soldiers.

Bartosze is associated with the Bartosze Nature Reserve, a forest nature reserve in the municipality of EÅ‚k. Its current purpose is to preserve and protect ecological processes in wetlands.

Visitors to the Bartosze Nature Reserve can observe animals and more than 270 plant species. The landscape of the Land of EÅ‚k also includes small lakes and hiking trails; the region's lakes are also associated with fishing and underwater tourism.
