Przerwanki is connected to Lake Gołdopiwo and the Sapina River; the local water landscape includes the Przerwanki Lock near the lake. It connects Lake Gołdopiwo with the Sapina and further with Lakes Wilkus, Pozezdrze, Stręgiel and Święcajty.

Water Landscape

Lake Gołdopiwo is considered a quiet zone where sailboats, rowing boats and kayaks are permitted. In Przerwanki, there is a campsite in a pine and spruce forest on the northern shore of Lake Gołdopiwo.

History

Przerwanki was officially established in the 16th century. Documented historical forms of the name include Spitzen Orthe, Spitzenorts, Spitzingen, Przerwancken and Przerwanken. The Przerwanki Lock is a single-chamber brick structure with wooden gates operated by a manually operated mechanism. It was built in 1910.
