History
Przerwanki was officially established in the 16th century. Documented historical forms of the name include Spitzen Orthe, Spitzenorts, Spitzingen, Przerwancken and Przerwanken. The Przerwanki Lock is a single-chamber brick structure with wooden gates operated by a manually operated mechanism. It was built in 1910.
