In the second half of the 18th century, a church with a rectangular floor plan was built in Bełczna. The village is located in the Gmina Łobez, in Łobez County, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship of Poland.

Historical names of the place include villa Nienkerken and Newenkirchen; in German, Bełczna was formerly known as Neukirchen.

Bełczna is home to a 19th-century landscape park covering an area of 2.6 hectares. The park includes a sycamore maple with a circumference of 370 centimetres.
