Wustrow

The former fishing and seafaring village, now the Baltic Sea resort of Wustrow, is located on the Fischland peninsula, a narrow spit forming the westernmost part of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula between the Baltic Sea and Saaler Bodden.
The prevailing westerly winds mean that the beach, which faces due west, usually has the waves so popular with Baltic Sea holidaymakers. The wind is also essential for surfing, which you can learn and practise at a surf school in Wustrow.
Despite the narrow strip of land between the Baltic Sea and the Bodden, Wustrow and its surroundings offer plenty of space for an active family holiday on the Baltic coast. Signposted Nordic walking routes, fishing trips on the Bodden, water sports and horseback riding are just a few examples of what a holiday in Wustrow has to offer its guests.
The harbour of the Baltic Sea resort of Wustrow is on Saaler Bodden.
