Ahrenshoop

The seaside resort of Ahrenshoop lies where Fischland meets the Darß, on the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula, between the Baltic Sea and the Saaler Bodden lagoon. Ahrenshoop became particularly well known for the artists’ colony founded here at the end of the 19th century.

Barth

The town of Barth makes the most of its location at the entrance to a large holiday region, its own maritime holiday offerings and its historic character.

Born

The state-recognized resort town of Born lies directly south of the Darß Forest, on the Saaler Bodden and Bodstedter Bodden lagoons, on the Darß—the central part of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula. Born is a unique little gem, a living museum.

Dierhagen

The seaside resort of Dierhagen, with its six districts, forms the mainland gateway to the Fischland-Darß-Zingst Peninsula. With its varied landscape and range of activities for active holidays, Dierhagen is particularly well suited to family holidays.

Prerow

The continuous stretch of beach, one of the most beautiful on the Baltic Sea, begins west of the Baltic seaside resort of Prerow and runs all the way to the eastern end of the Zingst Peninsula.

Ribnitz-Damgarten

Ribnitz-Damgarten lies on both sides of the Recknitz estuary, where it flows into the Saaler Bodden, which has long formed the natural border between Mecklenburg and Pomerania. Ribnitz-Damgarten is considered the gateway to the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula and has earned the name “Amber City” thanks to its tradition.

Wieck

The fishing village of Wieck is an ideal starting point for cycling or hiking excursions through the Darß Forest to the West Beach or North Beach. In Wieck itself, with its small, newly built harbour, there are opportunities for sailing, surfing and swimming.

Wustrow

The harbour of the Baltic Sea resort of Wustrow is on Saaler Bodden, while the pier is the landmark and focal point of the miles-long Baltic Sea beach. The listed Fischlandhaus, around 200 years old, offers year-round insights into the rich history of the Baltic Sea resort of Wustrow.

Zingst

The 18-kilometer-long beach of the Baltic seaside resort of Zingst is unique in its size and unspoiled natural beauty. A special attraction is Europe’s largest crane roost, where the Bodden lagoon waters open into the Baltic Sea.
