Dierhagen
Dierhagen forms the mainland gateway to the Fischland-Darß-Zingst Peninsula and lies just a few kilometres from Ribnitz-Damgarten, between the Baltic Sea coast and the Saaler Bodden, the westernmost part of the Bodden lagoon system that separates the long, narrow Fischland-Darß-Zingst Peninsula from the mainland.
Dierhagen’s main attraction is its seven-kilometre stretch of fine sandy Baltic Sea beach. The seaside resort has three campsites. They are open year-round, and some have facilities accessible to people with disabilities. Holiday homes, hotels and guesthouses provide the accommodation needed for a seaside break in Dierhagen.
The yacht marina in Dierhagen Dorf has 54 berths. Surfers can also set off from here to enjoy their favourite sport, and an excursion boat connects the harbour with Wustrow and Ribnitz-Damgarten. The small harbour at Dändorf is another possible mooring for recreational boaters.
With its varied landscape and range of activities for active holidays, the seaside resort of Dierhagen is particularly well suited to family holidays.
