The Bansin seaside resort is the westernmost and smallest of the three “Imperial Spas”—Bansin, Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck on the island of Usedom—and, for many visitors, the most beautiful. The main road divides the resort. To the south lies the picturesque old village of Bansin; to the north, an entirely new tourist infrastructure was built at the end of the 19th century, and it continues to be expanded and modernized today. Here, Bergstraße is one of the most beautiful streets of resort architecture on the Baltic coast.
The seaside resort of Bansin nestles against the nearly 60-meter-high Langenberg, whose cliff dominates the beach west of the town. Where the settlement meets the Langenberg pine forest, the three bungalows belonging to the Abraham family stand at the edge of the woods, overlooking the seaside resort.
