Knorrendorf: Hotels and Accommodation

Knorrendorf has the character of a former manor village. The former manor house and a village pond have been preserved – defining elements of the townscape shaped by its rural surroundings and rich history.

Townscape and Location

Knorrendorf is located in the Mecklenburg Lake District, northwest of Neubrandenburg, and belongs to the Stavenhagen administrative district. The B104 federal highway and the Bützow–Szczecin railway line run through the municipality.

Landscape and Bodies of Water

The Kastorfer See lake lies northeast of Knorrendorf; the Gädebehner See lake is located to the south. Wildberg, Gerichtsberg and Merksberg are in the immediate vicinity. The surrounding area includes Kittendorf, Dorfkirche, Fuchsberg, Tiergarten Ivenack and Tannenberg. The Kulturpark is located in the wider regional surroundings of Knorrendorf.

Culture and Local Life

A local harvest thanksgiving cultural program included a church service in Kastorf, followed by brass band music, activities for children, live music, a puppet theater and a program at the community center.
