Lübz is a small town on the Müritz-Elde Waterway in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

Landscape

Lübz is located in the lowlands on both sides of the Müritz-Elde Waterway. There are no larger lakes within the town; however, the town borders Passower See to the north.

The surrounding area of Lübz includes Weinberg, Güldenberg, Fuchsberg and Gerichtsberg. The wider area of Lübz includes the Bobziner Tannen forest east of Riederfelde. Protected forest areas are located east of Lübz near Im neuen Teich and north of the town on the Alte Elde near Kuppentin.
