Location

Buschvitz is located approximately five kilometres northeast of Bergen auf Rügen on a district road. Federal Highway 196 runs south of the municipality, while Federal Highway 96 passes through the municipality. A calculated geographical centre of Rügen is located near Strüßendorf.

Surroundings

Bergen, St. Mary’s Church, is also located nearby. The wider regional surroundings include the dog beach, Glowe Beach, and the Schwedenschanze. The surroundings of Buschvitz also include the palace park and Bobbin, St. Paul’s Church.
