Parchtitz: Hotels and accommodations

Parchtitz is located on the island of Rügen in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, about three kilometers northwest of Bergen auf Rügen.

Geographical location

Parchtitz is situated directly on State Road 30 between Bergen and Gingst. Federal Highway 96 and the Stralsund–Sassnitz railway line run east of the municipality.

Parchtitz borders Bergen auf Rügen to the north and east, Sehlen to the south, Dreschvitz to the southwest, Gingst to the west, and Kluis to the northwest.

Nature

The island of Rügen is located in the immediate vicinity of Parchtitz. Pulitz Island and Urkevitz are located in the surrounding area.

The Duwenbeek runs through the Parchtitz area. It is considered the only larger flowing watercourse on Rügen and rises from Lake Nonnensee, which is partly located within the municipality.

Culture and surroundings

Bergen, St. Marien is located in the immediate vicinity of Parchtitz. The wider regional area includes Glowe Beach and Schwedenschanze. The Stralsund Zoo is also located there.

The motocross track is also located in the surrounding area.
