Baabe
The Baltic Sea resort of Baabe lies in the eastern part of Rügen Island, between the Baltic Sea resorts of Sellin and Göhren. Situated at the Mönchgraben, at the narrow point between the Baltic Sea and Lake Sellin, Baabe provides access to the Mönchgut Peninsula.
The shallow water and fine sandy beach, around 50 metres wide, make Baabe a “family beach beneath the pines”.
The spa architecture of the buildings, particularly along Strandstraße, forms an appealing contrast with the old thatched-roof fishermen’s cottages, which bear witness to the history of today’s Baltic Sea resort.
